This month in celebration of Women's Herstory Month (March 3 - March 31), we will share folklore of female deities from around the globe to pay homage to the Divine Goddesses of knowledge, wisdom, love, beauty, and creation.

Sacred Divine Feminine Archetypes

She has been called many things over many lifetimes, Goddess, Empress, Wise Woman, and Witch to name a few. These names formed archetypes created to describe the indescribable essence that is the sacred feminine. Just as with the nature of the world, the sacred divine feminine can be expressed in both yin/light and yang/dark aspects:
